Counselling Supervision

The more I have practiced as a therapist, the greater my respect and value for supervision, both in the process and the relationship I have developed with my various Supervisors over the years.

I think that it is only in these latter years of my experience that collaborative working relationship has felt both supportive and challenging and enabled me to grow as a therapist.

Since February 2020 I have also been working as a Supervisor, to qualified and trainee counsellors.  The BACP is very clear on the guidelines for trainees and qualified.  I adhere to this guideline.

Its a very different type of relationship that suits both the counsellor and trainer in me.

As supervisor and supervisee we work on looking at the relationship you are developing with your client.  The challenges you may be facing that need identifying in you and we all between you and your client.

As with everything I do it is the relationship that is important in our work, always with an eye on ethics and an eye on boundaries in the therapeutic relationship you are developing with your clients.

I offer 60min sessions at £50.00 and 90 mins sessions at £70.00
